I hope this FAQ section is able to provide answers to some of your questions.
How much is shipping? TOP
Shipping to the U.S. and Canada is $6.00. For all other countries, please contact me with your mailing address so I can find out what costs will be. Shipping is FREE for all purchases over $50.00.
What payment methods do you accept? TOP
I accept PayPal, including credit cards through PayPal. You will be using my shopping cart from Mals e-commerce - this is a secure payment site.
How long until my purchase arrives? TOP
Items will be shipped within 2 business days of receiving payment.. Shipments usually take 3-4 days in Canada, 12 - 15 days to the U.S. and 3 weeks internationally.
Please note that anyone making an international purchase is responsible for their own duty fees or any other fees imposed by their home country when receiving packages. I will not mark "gift" on customs forms, nor will I mis-represent the value of the items purchased.
What is your refund policy? TOP
For returns/refunds of items in the same condition the items were sent:
If for any reason you are not satisfied with any item purchased here
from Susan Burwash Studios, you may return it for a refund. I ask that
you please obtain a refund authorization by emailing me within 10 days
of receipt of the item. Refunds do not include return shipping costs.
I
will also replace beads that have broken within 6 months of purchase.
While I have made every effort to ensure that my beads are as durable
as possible, both through the approach I use while making them and by
annealing them, even the most sturdy glass may break if not handled
with care.

That's me! Before I started making lampwork beads, I made a lot of wire jewelry, often incorporating other artists' beads. I still make jewelry, but have become increasingly drawn to the flame, and am starting to dabble in PMC too. So I decided to change my business name to something less specific in terms of the materials I use. And the plural "studios" just reflects my varied interests and multiple workspaces. My poor husband just shakes his head when he looks around our house and says "that's what you get when you live with an artist ...".
What's a fauxpal? TOP
Faux (French for false or artificial) + opal = fauxpal. If I have a signature bead, this is it. Some people who see them assume they have dichroic glass in them, but the shimmer comes solely from silver foil, layered with many dots of transparent color, slowly melted in. They're fun to make, but time-consuming.

What's Purple Mangoes? TOP
This new venture brings together two experienced therapists/educators

love beads and jewelry to offer jewelry-based workshops for
groups of women. We offer projects that allow for
self-exploration in a fun environment and promote health and well-being
